Disinvestment Difficulties with Old Mutual via Mukheibir and Associates

We have been attempting to disinvest funds held with Old Mutual for approximately three years through Mukheibir and Associates financial advisers in Port Elizabeth. As a body corporate, this prolonged delay is unacceptable. The process has followed a frustrating pattern: the financial advisers request trustee information, we provide it promptly, and then months pass before they request additional documentation. This cycle has repeated itself numerous times over the three-year period. We have just received yet another email requesting more information. Our fundamental question remains: why wasn't all required documentation requested at the outset when we first initiated the disinvestment request three years ago? This piecemeal approach to gathering information suggests either poor administrative processes or deliberate stalling tactics. After three years of patience and cooperation, we have exhausted all reasonable options and are now escalating this matter in the hope that we will receive the service we expect. We require immediate action to complete this disinvestment without further delay.
