Disgusting treatment by Old Mutual to Unemployed widow.

My unemployed sister whet to Old Mutual 6 months ago to claim against her husbands policy as he is deceased. Old Mutual made no contact with my sister during these 6months. She eventually went back last week only to be told nothing was done as she was given the incorrect forms to complete. She was then given another set of forms and told to go home and complete them. Once she submits the forms back it will take 12months for payout. This is really disgusting service on the part of Old Mutual to treat a grieving widow who is unemployed and dependent on this funds in such a dismissive manner. I simply also cannot understand why she was not assisted in completing the forms immediately and her case escalated as Old Mutual made an error.
