Really poor biased company. Our defy washing packed up. This is the events that transpired:

With regards to our rejected claim , we hereby object to this claim rejected decision "without prejudice"

It is grossly unfortunate that we as a family has collectively considered consolidating our insurances from Iwyze and Naked to Old Mutual . It now seems a regretful BAD decision from our side.

We have registered a claim for our fairly new washing machine which stopped working .

Initially there were two service providers booked out and the events are as follows :

01 June 2026 Robtec sent out their technician after communicating with me on the morning of the 01st June 2026.

I was working from home that day and communicated to the technician from Robtec that we require a damage report.

The technician agreed and said he has to open the machine and investigate in order to issue a damage report.

While I was up and down from my office and the technician, things did not feel right as he began to cut wires and fiddle with my machine.

After the technician communicated with his boss telephonically, he immediately requested I give him R1500 so he can source the parts and come back and put them on.

This is a relatively new machine so I immediately phoned Old Mutual and spoke to Leneo.

Even Leneo asked the technician as to why he is requesting money from the client. He insisted Leneo speak to his boss directly.

He then hurriedly put my machine together without tightening screws and leaving loose wiring around .

Leneo later confirmed 2 teams were allocated in error.

How ever I am sure this first technician caused further damage to my washing machine.

The Swiftcare allocated team subsequently came through on the 04/06/2026 and done their inspection

I view this in a very serious light.

The case was declined by the assistant arbitrator.

I engaged a private technician and his finding are as follows :

Purchased new pc board Purchased new actuator pump

Installed the above two items and the machine sparked and burnt the new pc board.

After a further investigation, my technical tells me that the wiring was bridged by the fuses and this subsequently caused the damage to teh new pc board as well.

I have emailed oldmutual all this information and they have not responded.
