Disability claim

I had submitted a claim for disability late last year and its rather taking too long, One of the issues is the constant back and fourth as well as the issue of nominating a GP that I don't have because I don't normally get sick if I do I visit any doctor and it's very rare. I was recently advised by financial adviser to submit an affidavit and await their response.
