Delayed Payout for matured policy

I took a policy with old mutual years ago and it matured in January. I then app**** to have it paid out on the 1st of October and has been taken from pillar to post by the Mthatha branch. At first, they claimed I had outstanding debt from Old Mutual Finance but I advised that I had paid that debt. On further investigation, they discovered that I did not owe anything to Old Mutual, yet I am yet to receive the payment.
