Delay in provident fund payout

I recently resigned my job and my last working day was 20 April 2018. I received my last salary on the 24th of April and I was exited out of the payroll system. I was promised that I will receive my provident fund from Old Mutual within 20 working days. It is now more than 40 working days later and I have not received my money. I started querying what is going on and found out that the instruction to pay out has not even been processed yet. According to Old Mutual I was only exited out of their system by the 8th of June 2018, even though I have received the confirmation that I have been exited on the 24th of April from my previous employer.
