Declining of Bursary

Good day, my name is Tanaya Singh (18 years), residing in Gauteng near The Glen (South of Gauteng). I am an "A" student in my school of The Hill High. I have come out first in the grades over my past 5 years. My interests and ambition are to continue my studies at The University of Cape Town (UCT) on the career of Actuarial Science. Due to my CV, Projects and Gr 11-12 results, I have been accepted by the University of Cape Town SUCCESSFULLY. Now forwarding all my documentation with my 1st and 2nd term grade 12 results for a bursary to Old Mutual, it got DECLINED. My intentions were to be a part time employee while studying and permanent after completion of my studies to Old Mutual. Why is Old Mutual REJECTING my request for assistance?Presently I am supported only by my Mom, due to my Dad divorcing my Mom a few years ago. Please can anyone out there be of assistance to me.
