debit order reversal

opened a educational plan in March 2022 ,October I went on maternity leave went to protea glen brunch asked them to debit from a different account since I won't be getting paid ,gave them all the necessary documents January going back to work they debited R1500 but the account was closed I've been asking for a refund they keep on sending me back it's like no one is willing to assist cause I was told to expect it on the 15th of Feb till now nothing when I go to the branch they telling me it will reverse after 3months y must I wait 3months for my money and this isn't the 1st time old mutual is a ****E and wouldn't recommend it
