I start working at a new employer this month and asked Old Mutual Finance to change my debit order date to three days later as we are getting paid bit later than my previous employer. I even sent through my contract as proof.
I have paid off the majority of my loans with Old Mutual Finance without any problems in the past. One of the other loans will be paid off by the end of the month.
Now, Old Mutual wants to confirm my payment date with my new employer (they have tried more than once), even after I've sent the contract. Also, I don't want to them to keep trying contacting my new employer, as I don't want to cause them frustration. My employment is much more important than your installment, as the employment insures you get paid...
It is also my provocative in terms of changing the debit order date in anyway by a few days for my convenience? If it goes off on the 25th there will be a good chance that the debit orders will bounce back which in turn will add more banking cost on my side as well as impact my scoring with my bank (returned debit orders have a negative impact at FNB which in turn effect credit).
Please change debit order date to the 28th as instructed. I have been a loyal client, so not sure why a simple instruction is such a big deal.
