Dear Complaints Department, I am writing to raise a concern regarding my retrenchment policy with Old Mutual. On 21 July 2025, I submitted a request via my broker to have this policy cancelled. Despite this, the policy was not cancelled, and I was still charged for the month of August 2025. Please could you urgently investigate this matter and confirm the following: 1. Why the cancellation instruction was not actioned as requested. 2. That the policy will now be cancelled with immediate effect. 3. The process for refunding the premium that was incorrectly deducted for August. I would appreciate your prompt attention and written confirmation once this issue has been resolved.
