<p>So my father passes away early this year after he has retired and invested his pesion money with Old Mutual. After his funeral we made death claim and the payment was made after 3 weeks of claiming but only 25% of the pension money he invested was payed out. we called them enquiring when can we receive the outstanding 75% of the money and they told us they've paid us the whole amount and they will send us the settlement letter. When we told them there is still 75% outstanding, they were so rude and refusing to tell us where is the rest of that 75% he had invested with them. We called them several times demanding answers but until today they are refusing to pay us our father's money and not giving us answers. </p> <p>My father worked so hard for that money as he was a breadwinner for us to have food and education which he believed education is important. Now Old mutual is robbing us from getting that education he wished and planned for us to have.</p> <p>When they want our money, they will be all nice and helpful for you to join in their Policies but as soon as they need to pay out that will be then you see their true colours (******, inconsiderate and cruel). I mean just imagine how does one get to sleep at night with that cruel conscious, knowing that we are suffering out there all because they have ****** our monies denying us future opportunities that our father had planned for us to have.</p> <p> </p> <p>To the public out there, plz plz plz you must learn from this situation of ours, let it to be a warning to you too or it will also happen to you or your children. I have also warned my friends and relatives about this tragedy we are in with Old Mutual. I never bilieved a big company like Old Mutual could do such a thing but today I am living prove. Even Sanlam its way better than Old Mutual, all investments/Policies previously made with Sanlam were fully paid.</p> <p> </p> <p>Old Mutual we want all our father's remaining money.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
