Consolidation

I have two loans at old mutual and I pay about R3600 for each I've had these two loans for over 24 months now and not once have I skipped payments..I now wish to consolidate these two loans so that my repayment can be reduced to a reasonable amount as I'm now struggling financially..I went to East Rand Mall branch to try to discuss my situation but I'm told I don't qualify for that due to affordability..So maybe I'm dumb or stupid, firstly the reason I went there to reduce my repayment,meaning that I myself have come to realization that I can't afford high installments hence the request for joining these two loans and reduce installment..I'm not asking for extra cash I'm simply asking for one repayment so as to reduce my repayment as well as cut down on number of debit orders on my account..So can you please explain to me why should I earn more so you can reduce my installment..?I tried other institutions but they all say go back to old mutual and ask them to consolidate these loans..So I'm asking you please look at this matter,I'm really struggling so please have ear to listen to your customers,I assume a financial well being of your clients is important so please help..
