confirming my identity due to Old mutual Error

I visted the old mutual branch in Randburg Square on Friday 10th of June in order to give notice to widraw my investment thats matured. I was helped althoug the staff was not so proffessional in their conduct i over looked that and was satisfied. To my horror when i return i receive an email from Old mutual advising me that i had a name change and need to submit supporting documentation before my withdrawal can be processed. I was requested to submit a marriage certificate or affidavit amoungst many, but i never change any details while at the branch. Today i phoned the call centre and was advised i need to get an affidavit to confirm my Identity and certify that my details have not changed. I dont understand why i need to do that when i never submitted any request to change my details. My concern here is that there may be a security bridge and that my information is not safe. How is it that you can submit a document to say I changed my details when i didnt. I have lost on confidence in Old Mutual and would like to cancel the policy i opened on Friday as a result of all of this. More over your service is appauling , i was promised a call from a manager and the consultant ( XOLI ) who assisted me on Friday also promised to call me back and nothing has materialised. Ref CE ********** . Please sort this out immediately its unacceptable
