Concern client

I was handed over by old mutual finance for defaulting on my monthly payments of which i lost my job due to covid however a debt collector Ms Portgiter called me from Vander Merwe and saayman Fourie attorneys called me to demand payments of which i did not despute i explained that im not working a permanent job but I will try and pay R300 pm on my outstanding balance my account was debited month end February and they couldn't find cash on may because they didn't track my account as they were supposed to do so on the 30th of April i sent them an email asking them to track my account because i knew it didn't have sufficient money at that time to my surprised it is the 1st time working with debt collectors that intimidate clients and send threats to send them to prison as a old mutual client and a south african citizen i did acknowledge my debt and i do everything within my power to pay my dues i have tons of messages from the debt collecting company intimidating me i my self was ince a debt collector a year ago and i know when i am being intimidated they i am ashamed of being an old mutual client and im closing all my accounts with them will also write to ombudsman
