Complaint

I took a funeral cover for my mother and siblings 2013 when I joined the defence force. I joined from Gcina Mtongana over the phone. The funeral cover has been deducted from my payslip for the past 5 years. When I visited their branch to change method and date of payment since I was no longer working, I was told that I can't change it because its not mine I'm just a payer and my mother is a policy holder, meaning we must both visit any branch to sort it out. I was in Western Cape that time and my mother lives in Eastern Cape. Long story short, december 2018 me and my mother visited Queenstown branch to reinstate the policy since it has lapsed. We made arrangements to pay missed premiums but till this date nothing has happened. I call them almost every day, Nelisiwe who was helping us is telling me to phone their call center she doesn't know what is happening and there is nothing on the system. If they not going to help me they must just give me my money so that I can go and cover my family somewhere else.
