Complain about Old Mutual

I'm so unhappy how old mutual treat their clients. I have money that I put for myself at old mutual as savings. The start of the policy was told I will receive my money within 24 hours when I need and when the have received all the supporting documents.

Because of the bad reviews from social media about old mutual and having my mother to experience pain when she waited 2 weeks to bury her son/ my brother until my mother wrote a letter of complaint to ombudsman immediately she received the money in the 3rd week for the funeral.

I decided to cancel my savings with them because of these ***********. The financial advisor Ettien Gouws. who once told me I could get my money immediately, his telling me I will get my money in 2 weeks.

This is my money that I am saving to old mutual why the hell will I want to wait the whole 2 weeks get my money in 2 weeks? So people must not bother to save their money here, because in case of emergency thinking you can get your money asap, Old Mutual will tell you nonsense.

I want it asap.

Please do contact me, I mean how does a person wait 2 weeks for her own savings . My own money that I'm saving for myself and If it happens I have emergency I can have access to my own money. The 2 weeks period waiting that's insane.

***. Etienne received my documents on time to cancel my policy and the ID copy on the 30th of May 2024. On the 3rd of June I received an email from Ettiene that he didn't not receive my ID copy the incompetence. I Had to resent again and to show him it was send before.

Can I see my money in my account asap so that I can part in peace with old mutual

The email below, I received from old mutual financial advisor Ettien Gouws.
"YOUR TAXFREE INVESTMENT DOES PAY OUT WITHOUT TAX IMPLICATIONS BUT ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT THE INVESTMENT IS LINKED TO CASH,BONDS ,PROPERTY AND EQUITIES WHICH FLUCTUATES."

Can you please look at this craziness and *****ulent practices.

I'm having a savings account with old mutual ( A Tax Investment). Now I want to cancel my policy I'm told my savings has decreased because of the above email, fluctuations, Nkosiyami where does my savings monet enter to CASH, BONDS,PROPERTY AND EQUITIES. This is the reason why my savings fluctuates...

Is old mutual taking for real, why are they taking people for a ride?

I am still shocked by the level of *****ing people by old mutual.
Since we are told that everything is recorded.
I requested for policy with terms and conditions were I I signed and agreed that my savings are to be linked to assets for fluctuation.
Instead a receive an email with a form(piece of paper) that is very blurry one can't read and another form that was filled by their financial advisor of which I know nothing of the hence there was no signature.

Old mutual sent me clear documents where it proves I signed and acknowledged all your nonsense you have been emailing me.
You can't threatened me by saying the investigation will take long. When I request documents.

Is this really a joke? From the 10th of June 2024 and till date. My money is not in my account?

That is my money I was saving with Old Mutual and I’m not asking for a damn loan. Deposit my money.

How dare you disrespect me with my own money.

Wonders shall never end South Africa.
After receiving half of my savings, money I was not expecting.

I was sent an email to travel all the way to their head office, with which money since they ate half of my savings.
And to do what in their offices? maybe to hang me since I'm thinking their emails are no longer working to communicate with me there.

People be very careful with Old mutual.

As old mutual continue to send me emails to insult my intelligence. Thinking someone who Studied to be a CA doesn't know the value of money.

I'm told my savings decrease in value everyday.
The need to send me a contract where I signed and agreed to this nonsense they telling me.

I'm also told the if they say my termination value today is R2277, when it is paid to my account it will be half of that because the value decreases.

All I need, is documents of my signature, the recon and them to explain why they took half of my savings were did it go and why and who agreed on that in the first place.
