Cold calling spam
Cold calling me for sales purposes in the direct contravention of POPIA. The salesperson hung up when it asked where she got the my number. I will never do business with any company that disrespects my rights and time by deciding that they are entitled to my timetable and attention in such an invasive manner. I am also going to stop all business with Old Mutual, with whom I hold investments, as a result of this flagrant violation of law and common decency. I have no idea tolerance for disrespectful companies and will advise everyone to ditch everything related to OM.

06 Nov 2022, 11:47Haven't heard from you on this for more than a week. I assume you've not done any further investigation and have no interest in resolving this matter. I will therefore withdraw all my investments from OM this week and cite this lack of customer care as the reason. Thanks for your non-response, it makes my decision easy.

09 Nov 2022, 08:00The outcome to this complaint was that Old Mutual has so many people doing unsolicited direct marketing that they can't figure out who phoned me. When a company shows such disrespect for people's time that they feel entitled to keep phoning you whenever they have something to sell, I can only withdraw all my business from that company and try to get others to do the same.

09 Nov 2022, 09:10I'll be spamming Old Mutual agents across Pretoria with one star reviews on Google so that as many agents as possible beg the company to stop cold calling unconsenting customers. If you can spam, so can I; let's see which has the desired effect.
