Can't claim for death benefit of deceased

I have been to Old Mutual countless times with no help at all. My mother had policies here but she passed away 1998, I recently found out about these policies and I'm trying to claim. It seems as if no one knows their duties. If it were possible I would take further steps. Old Mutual get someone to contact me urgently about this matter!!!!!
