Cancelled policy still not canceled

I canceled my policies with Old Mutual on the 10th May 2024 however, my salary was deducted on 15 May 2024 even though I canceled. I sent emails to the financial adviser who assisted me with opening these policies however, she never responded to my emails which resulted in me even complaining on their website and one of their managers reached out and promised to follow up. He/she has been following up but to date, my policies have not been canceled. How long does it take for Old Mutual to cancel a policy? 25 days later "still awaiting confirmation of cancellation" I demand that they cancel my policies with immediate effect and refund my money immediately. After all the bad publicity they have been getting one would think they would improve their turnaround time and customer satisfaction but nope not Old Mutual. I won't think of recommending it to anyone.
