Being ignored.
My 79 year old Mother received an email end of March about a premium that didn’t go off, I logged on online on her profile to check this out and nothing showed. We then sent numerous emails asking about this to Old Mutual and not a single person has responded about this. I’m coming to this platform because it seems this is the only way to communicate with Old Mutual because your emails no one attends to them but where the public sees you are quick to respond. Please be in touch with her as lapsed policies you love to through them around and I’m talking from experience with myself.

This morning an email from you about my Mom’s lapsed policy has been sent whereas all this time we have been trying to have her helped. Guys NO! Stop playing with peoples lives, this policy has been paid since 2002 and now what must she do when the negligence has been on your side? No fix this honestly. You said you would investigate not a single phone call was made to her. In fact I think it is pointless so I will just write to the insurance ombudsman for this one because at her age which policy is she going to start with now? Yhooooo

You diligently followed through when you said you would and you took time to investigate and come to a solution. I hope your colleagues who ignored and were quick to pass this enquiry could learn a thing from you about what customer service is and how taking ownership even if something was not your responsibility means but because you represent a company that you once knocked on their doors for a vacancy and promised to be a dedicated employee.
