Bad treatment i received from old mutual for investing money for 10 years now refusing to pay back my money.

I invested money 10 years ago with old mutual Policy Number ***1. The investment reach its maturity stage this year 1 February 2023. I received a call from my old mutual financial advisor informing that old mutual is no longer deducting from me because it reach it maturity stage. He ask me if i want to take a new policy or i want to leave the money there. I told him i want my money, he later called telling me stories that i can not get my money this year because i borrowed from it.

when i took the policy i was not informed about this, now that it s time for old mutual to pay my money i been saving they are coming up with stories. i remember in 2021 when i lost my husband they did the same thing refusing to pay.

I would like to advise people if the are looking for policy or want to invest money they must not use old mutual at all. i received poor service from them. I will never recommend old mutual to any of my friend, family and colleagues. i want my money back from Old Mutual.

I am so disappointed with old mutual and i was not informed from the beginning when i took this investment/policy even their financial advisor was not aware. I took this policy/investment to pay for my children school and colleague fees but i am told my money will be available next year. why did i invest my money then if i can not get it as agreed when i took a decision to invest/save/a policy.
