Bad service

Old Mutual staff member in Kokstad told me if i pay the premiums the funeral policy will automatically be reinstated. Today when i call the Cape Town branch they tell me that i cannot reinstate the policy i will need to open up a new policy. why do they work as if they are 2 seperate companies? very bad service not happy at all

i do not understand as you guys are one company but the branch consultant tells me something different to the ones at head office
