Bad reaction and services from Old Mutual

More than 3 months after my brother pass away, Old Mutual fail to appoint an executor for his estate. The Old Mutual agent whom dealt with my late brothers living annuity said that he referred the request to Old Mutual but also now don't react on his e-mail to send us that proof of the request. The living annuity could be paid out to the beneficiaries' as soon as that the executor has been appointed. I also tried to phone enquiries on the Old Mutual telephone line, but was referred with no response. I just hope that Old Mutual will be willing to pay interest on the living annuity amount which is a few million. This funds do belong to the beneficiaries, but after more than three months I believe that to delay the pay out of the living annuity, either Old Mutual or the Agent is benefiting financial from this delay. This is totally the opposite from Sanlam services which in my experience is excellent and in cases dealt with this kind of matters with in a week. This is the reason why I strongly recommend Sanlam and should stay away from Old Mutual.
