Bad investment

<p>I took a group scheme policy with the hope to get high returns. After realising that it was not working out for me I decided to cash it in. However the surrender value did not make sense even if they were penalising me for the early cash in. I then asked for a statement showing the break down of how they came to that figure. They said they would get back to me within 10 working days. They 10 days ended yesteday and im still waiting for the feedback. This just goes to show that they cant explain how they got to that number. This is simple mathematics. Im annoyed that they are not even taking the effort to update me and apologise for the inconvinience. Group scheme from old mutual was a terrible idea and I would not recommend it for anyone.</p> <p> </p>
