Assumptions made to decline my application

I went to apply for a loan at Old Mutual Finance at the eastrand mall. I gave them my 3 months pay slip as I get paid basic and commission. The gentleman told me that thy will approve R20000 based on my income. Application done and contract signed. The following day I get a message saying that my application has been declined as he was instructed to change my income to be an hourly rate earner ( which I am not ) and that They will not condider my monthly commission. I work in sales enviroment and most of my income is from the commission I get from the sales I make per month. I sent them a letter from my HR Department comfirming my income that I get paid basic and commission , they still insist on that I am an hourly rate earner which is way less than what I make on a monthly basis. They did not even call my work to confirm how much I make monthly. Can someone please do the right thing by contacting my Hr to confirm my income and stop assusming that I earn less than what is on my payslip
