Assessors requirements ridiculous
I have submitted a claim for an operation I had on the 30th of March 2015. I submitted my claim documents in April 2015. Since then the assessors have requested more and more forms to be submitted by various specialists. Why can't they request all the information they require in the beginning. I had to go back to specialists and request more information? The requests made is irrelevant to the operation I had. What does an ankle injury have to do with an operation pertaining to my ovaries? Why do you request a sick note after 2 months when you have a medical attendant form completed with the number of days I was unable to work - I am self employed. What is the purpose of an income protector if you take 4 months to process a claim. You do not respond to my e-mails and your call centre personnel is unable to answer my questions that I have. The level of service is unacceptable. I am seriously considering cancelling my policies with Old Mutual if this is your claim procedure. It is unacceptable.
