Anti-Withdrawal Policies

Upon wanting to withdraw my Invest contract, my complaince is suddenly an issue and numerous documents need to be filled in. Why did Old Mutual not notify me prior to withdrawing that my profile is incomplete? I had to phone Old Mutual myself to find out that the withdrawal will not be made until such documents are completed. Nobody informed me proactively. I have been paying for a few months now, yet I cannot even withdraw my own savings??
