Abysmal service from old mutual

Old mutual seems committed to keeping their reputation for non-delivery to their customers. My daughter and I went to the Galleria mall branch to claim from her recently departed father's policy and we told it would be processed within 48hours. Days later she received an email from the insurance requesting the death certificate and ID which she emailed. When no response was received days later she called waiting more than half an hour without speaking to a consultant each time. We visited the branch again and the claim was resubmitted and told again it would be processed within 2 days. A month later we still have yet to receive communication from Old mutual and calling them is still a waste of time and money since it only to be put on hold. I can't imagine how that family that had to bring a dead body to old mutual offices felt but I have some idea and I'm truly disappointed as I have policies with the insurance company so my resolve is to tell as many people as possible to avoid taking any policy with old mutual rather try other insurance companies. What a pitiful display of ethics and business principles this insurance has!
