7 day notice has turned to months notice

I have an investment with old mutual, I've been experiencing financial challenges so I decided to disinvest a portion. I made a notice of 7 days but I received my money after a month. Recently I requested for another portion, still made 7 days notice. It's been 3 weeks, every time I make a follow up I'm being told that it's reflecting on the system, I'll get it any day. When is any day? Should I wait 2 more months to receive my money? I'm disinvesting because I need the money but old mutual is giving me a run around. I'm tired, release my money.
