5 MONTHS AND STILL NO RETIREMENT PENSION RECEIVED

My husband retired and has been trying to get his pension paid out since January 2023. He called Old Mutual and got a broker who helped him by sending the forms to be completed and the companys HR department and eventually got all the forms completed correctly and submitted them to the broker. He has been phoning Old Mutual to follow up and was then told that they were waiting for a tax clearance which they got beginning of April 2023 and they told him that it takes between 5 to 7 working days to be paid out because the pension gets transferred from the " Superfund " to the " Max " Fund which pays out. To date he has still not been paid out. We have had to sell personal assets just to try and survive. We are at our wits end. Do I report this to the Ombudsman in order to try and get a resolution? So disappointed with Old Mutual services or rather the lack thereof. In my 35 years of working I have never waited longer than 8 weeks to get my pension paid out. This has now been going on for 5 months.
