had a life cover policy, investment and funeral covers with old mutual for more than 8 years, last year in September 2014 i got promotion to other province (gauteng department of health). old mutual started having challenges to deduct the premiums through the stop orders. i then consulted my financial adviser Mr Selematsela at Sasolburg branch in Free State regarding the problem. Mr Selematsela advice me to go to any closer old mutual branch in Gauteng Province to write stop order instruction letter, complete the necessary forms and reinstate the stop order. i then went to MS Tina Mokoena at Vanderbiljpark branch and we did all the process that is required to start the stop order. meanwhile awaiting for stop order to be effective i kept paying the outstanding premiums via direct deposit into their account. November 2014 i started seeing some of my policies deduction on my pay slip, but premiums stop order for life cover were not yet effected. i contacted old mutual and submitted another letter at Edenvale, Greenstone Mall branch while still paying my outstanding premiums via deposit. to my surprise the very policy (life Cover) was inactive from the 03February 2015.
