Wrongfully priced sales items
I visited the Centurion mall branch on Monday 10 August 2015. I fitted a pair of Caterpillar boots. The salesman reminded me that the specific pair was marked down on sale for R999 in stead of the usual R1 699. I decided to buy them. However, the disappointment was tremendous when I got to the counter just to find out that they had made a mistake and that the boots were in actual fact NOT marked down anymore (in spite of the tag and the price on the box stating that it was). I had to pay the full price of R1 699. I was furious. I did not buy the boots (but still took the leather jacket and shirt that was actually still on sale).

On the same day, I went to a Cape Union Mart store, just to find the same pair of boots marked down to R999. There I also learned that Cape Union Mart and Old Khaki fall under the same company. Further more, according to Dineo, a saleslady at Cape Union Mart (Irene), company policy is that I should have paid the price the pair of boots were marked down at at the Old Khaki store.

I would like to bring this matter under your attention as it is this type of incongruence that reflects on the employees as being *********** and leads to customer dissa
