I wanted to buy a bag that was tagged R150. When I got to the till they said its wrong pricing, then the cashier called her manager, Carol. Carol asked on the phone if I was black or white before she could give an answer whether I should buy with the amount that was on the price tag or not. Asking the race of a client was uncalled for. I felt undermined, she even refused to talk to me on the phone. It was not my fault that they have priced incorrectly. I would really appreciate if this can be taken into consideration. I have never asked to be black(which I am proud of) just like she is also black.
