I need the "SHOE Box" to return my broken shoes???? after 2 moths?

I bought a pair of takkies from Old Khaki on 27 May 2021, 3 weeks ago I returned them, due to the fact that they were broken and pulling away from the sides in so many places, it was absolutely ridiculous. My daughter bought 2 pairs and the same happened to them too. she lives in another town and they send her away too. When I went to the store to return it, they did not have a pair to exchange it with and would not give my money back unless I bring them the box. SERIOUSLY??? This is ridiculous and the sad part is my husbands' cupboard is filled with Old Khaki.
