WORD OF MOUTH MENU = DISAPPOINTMENT ON YOUR PLATE

On Sunday we celebrated my mothers 50th birthday at Old Grey Cafe. She spoke to the chef wrt the menu at least 4-5 days prior to the event. To our amazement everything we were served was different to what was said would possibly be on our plates. <br> <br> The word of mouth menu was as follows: A beef or lamb curry with two sides of veggies and either roast chicken of beef and roast potatoes. The dessert would be a pancake with fried banana and ice cream or some pastry with a lindt chocolate, a strawberry and ice cream......What we received was, three dessert s****s of dry rice with two slices of beef covered in gravy (which tasted like it went off), two roast potatoes (which were rock hard), a dessert s**** spinach, pumpkin and roast chicken. For dessert, we had two tiny scoops of ice cream with a little chocolate sauce. And let's not forget the jugs of juice that tasted like they just flavoured the water for taste.<br> <br> To top it off, they sent one waitress to serve a table of 25 people by herself. We couldn't eat together because the food came to us two plates at a time. To avoid the food getting cold, we had to ask those who had food to start eating. <br> <br> Disgusted, Disappointed &amp
