The Old Bridge Tavern should be more aware of the needs of clients

The Old Bridge Tavern in Somerset West, which I have been visiting recently, appears to be a mecca for watching sport, with many screens, good food and drinks. However there are some annoying aspects which the management should take into account. When a loadshedding cycle ends there is usually an awfully long time before the screens become functional again, often 15 – 20 mins, sometimes in the middle of an important rugby match. It seems there is not sufficient expertise to get things back into shape in a reasonably time. Then last Saturday after 5 pm someone decided that clients in the main area should be subjected to a sudden icy draught. Before things were quite comfortable. That is a recipe for inducing colds, apart from the discomfort. I complained to my waitress, who said she will report my complaint. When nothing happened I spoke to her again some time later and she confirmed that she did convey my complaint. Then I decided to leave for another venue to watch a rather important rugby match. If the management disregards the interests of clients the Old Bridge Tavern could start losing some clientele.
