Dishonest motor dealers

On the 05/01/2019 we went to see a black Chevrolet Utility bakkie at Okoh motors situated cnr 74 Frederick and Ellof street in Johannesburg cbd. The vehicle were in a good condition but had no service record.

We spoke to the manager named Precious and ask him if it will be possible to get a service record seeing i were very interested to buy it, he said yes. I were in a hurry to get a vehicle seeing that my previous one were ****** in December 2018 and had no means to get to work.

We decide to leave a deposit of R1000 with the dealer and come to the agreement that if the loan were not approved he will will pay back the R1000 which he strongly agreed to. The manager precious gave us a invoice slip which i will include as proof to you. We went to the bank to apply for a loan to buy the vehicle.

Precious the manager did get the service record for us but the bank didn't approve my loan application. We contacted the manager precious and told him the situation. He was upset seeing we could not take the vehicle on that point of time.

We ask him to pay back the R1000 seeing that was the agreement. He refused and said that the money pay for the service record that he had to get for us.

Afterwards we still try to reason with him to no avail.
