**** prodcuts sold at exorbitant prices, denying my consumer right to return unsatisfactory product

I bought a pair of shoes for my one year old son at an exorbitant price of R480, for which i expected i was paying for quality, but my son wore the shoes and I walked him around the house for minutes, and he cried so I knew then they did not fit him, so when I returned to the store a week later to exchange the shoe, the teller told me the shoes were no longer in a reselling condition. So the fact that an expensive pair of shoes, got a scratch at the bottom when worn only once, proves the inferiority of the quality of the shoes and means that I had overpaid for **** in the first place, I was denied an exchange and teller tried to accuse me of lying, claiming that my one year old son, (who can't even walk on his own yet) was playing outdoors with the shoes when they got scratched. Such poor customer service. The store is clearly selling ****s at expensive prices. Teller also told me nonsense about the shoe should have been fitted in the store....how possible is it to buy a gift for someone and have them fit in the store. Nonsense like this, I will take them to the OMBUDSMEN.
