WARNING: OJ MOTORS - HAS 3 DEVIL'S PAWN

On the 18th July 2014, I saw a Toyota Runx for sale on the internet (38000) and it was sold by OJ MOTORS auto dealer (so I thought), I therefore contacted the number on the website (OLX) and I got hold of a guy by the name of Brian ( ********** ) (so called Sales person, Zulu speaking) who told me that he will speak to his manager to sell it to me for R35000 since I was going to pay with cash.

I therefore received a call from the manager person (Mr William Smith (English speaking man) and he told me that he agrees on R35000. He then told me that I need to pay a deposit of 18140 (included delivery fee), which I became hesitant at first but then provided me with sales agreement that has company registration number and vat number and guaranteed me that they were not *****s and that the car will be delivered on the 19th July 2018 by which I will make the rest of the payment. I then got a call from a lady by the name of Yolanda (from their so called head office) confirming that she has received the proof of payment and that the car will be delivered the following day (19th July 2018).

On the 18th July 2018 between 12:00 pm and 13:00 pm, I made an internet bank payment of R18 140 in their so called business account that is reflected on their sales agreement but I made sure not select the ''Immediate interbank payment'' option.

On the 19/07/18 they (Yolanda and William persons) called again to verify that everything is still in order and that my car is being delivered. Around 14h00, Mr William person called and gave a long story that I must make a deposit of the rest of outstanding money. I started getting suspicious, and I informed him that I will only make the final payment when the car has been delivered. He responded by saying that he understands and that the car should be delivered in the next 1 hour 30min. I called I called in 30 minutes and there was no answer on their landline number ( ********** ). The Brian person's phone was switched off.

When I called them with a different number they hung up on me. Their other number is **********
