BEYOND, BEYOND PATHETIC EXECUTION OF MY CAKE - HIGHLY DISSAPPOINTED!

I have never been so disappointed in service! I had planned my boyfriend's 35th birthday dinner for a month and knew I was going to order this cake from you. I browsed through your selection and realized there is nothing that goes with my theme of the birthday dinner. I whatapp'd your team with all the requirements and they advised that you don't do customized cakes any longer and that I should order online. I go through your selection, and couldn't find much for a guy turning 35 and anything navy and gold as per my theme that I wanted. So I thought, let me choose another emerald and gold cake that was the only one that was of any interest to me, elegant and beautiful, so I thought, I'd change my theme now to emerald and gold instead, though that was not what I wanted. I have been looking at cakes from you guys for a while and it captivated me. Your entire theme is about "Cake as ART!" even on the boxes, and the pictures looked absolutely exquisite and to my taste as I wanted to throw my boyfriend the best 35, classy and elegant birthday dinner, which I held at an elegant restaurant as well. I ordered online, and read your T's and C's and made sure that I got this right 100%. I phoned back as I had seen that your website mentioned at checkout that you need minimum 48 hours to order and you can pay R90 for delivery. But as soon as you check out, there is another note that states that you need to order the cake a day before the event if you want it delivered on the day but the time is not guaranteed. So, that is not what I wanted, and I called in to confirm this confusion. I concluded that I would have to fetch the cake myself before the event as the website states that if you order 48 hours before, the cake will be ready the Sunday at 9 am. I ordered it on Friday, and my event was on Sunday @13:00. Running around like a headless chicken to get everything ready to go as planned as I did not want to keep my guests waiting. I then get to your store, and there, at 12:20 and I had to wait for about approximately 15 minutes as the cake wasn't in store! I have guests waiting and I came 3 and half hours later then when it was supposed to be ready for me to collect! WHY WAS THE CAKE NOT WHERE READY FOR ME AT 13:20 WHEN YOU MENTION ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT IT SHOULD BE READY AT 9 AM 48 HOURS AFTER! WHY DID I HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOU TO BRING THE CAKE FROM UPSTAIRS SOMEWHERE AND YOU TOOK APPROX. 15 MINUTES AND DELAYED MY ENTIRE EVENT?! Also, your Ts and C's mention that the cake might differ from the actual picture, and I thought, that's fine, it will probably only be minor changes. When I looked at the cake in the store to make sure it is okay, I THOUGHT WOW! ***. It looks NOTHING like the ELEGANT, CLASS and BEAUTIFUL CAKE I ordered! NOT EVEN CLOSE OR NOR DID YOU EVEN TRY TO MAKE IT LOOK THE SAME! I AM BEYOND, BEYOND DISAPPOINTED IN THE CAKE THAT I BOUGHT FOR R784!!!! THAT WAS NOT R784 worth of cake! I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A CAKE FROM YOU AGAIN! IF THERE WERE MINOR CHANGES, YES, BUT THE CAKE LOOKED NOTHING LIKE YOUR PICTURE, IT'S LIKE A CHILD MADE IT! I COULD HAVE BACKED A BETTER CAKE AND I DON'T BAKE! WOW, I AM SO ****ED THAT I TRUST THIS COMPANY TO EXECUTE AN ELEGANT CAKE TO THE T AS ALL REVIEWS I READ PRIOR TO ORDERING WAS ALL GOOD! BUT MY GOSH WAS I MISTAKEN! P.S IF I COULD ATTACHED A PICTURE OF WHAT WAS ADVERTISED AND WHAT I GOT, YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND! ALSO, I AM MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEND YOU THE PICTURES ONCE YOU REPLY.
