Office Design Ceiling & Partitioning cc - Gavin Smith (Poor Service)

I made contact with Gavin Smith from Office Design Ceiling & Partitioning cc who gave me a quotation on removing tiles and screeding the floor for before new tenants move in. It was only a 60m square shop.

His company completed the job and demanded immediate payment. I told him that I will pay him once the center approved everything. He did not agree and said I must pay him for his work but if the center are not happy with anything he will gladly fix it, which I thought was fair and agreed.

So Gavin was paid...but the center were not happy with the job upon their inspection and pointed out that it was poorly done and incomplete. I have made many calls to arrange a meeting between Gavin Smith and the Center management to try to resolve the issue. Gavin finally met up with the Center and noted his incomplete job and said that he would arrange completion the following week.

It has now been two weeks and Gavin has not returned to complete the job. He does not answer his calls, respond to messeges left on his voice mail, whatsapp or emails.

The Center are now saying that if Gavin does not complete the job asap they will have their own contractors complete the job which will cost me double the amount that I paid Gavin Smith and his Office Design Ceiling & Partitioning cc company to do in the first place.

I would not recommend his company to others and will not use his services again if he does not complete the job that he was paid for.
