Bad service from Off beat holiday club

I was a guest at Club Mykonos resort from 16 January 2023 until the 20th.The reservation was done by Offbeat holiday club. I was handed over my keys to room 149 and as we arrived at the room we discovered it is situated on a very busy corner opposite the tennis court. The temperature was in the high 20 degrees . We opened the front door for some cool breeze and discovered that this was a very busy corner as people walk pass it to go to the heated swimming pool and spa and casino.What infringe on our privacy is that most of the persons looked into our apartment when they pass the window facing the volleyball court and look directly on our bed.We had absolutely no privacy and when they pass the corner they look directly into the apartment from the front door.We were forced to close the door and the curtains ,bear in mind there is no net only the curtains at the windows.So the apartment was dark and extremely warm. We then relax on the bed and opened the small window in the bedroom ,to our utter disgust our bed was directly opposite the neighbors balcony on the bottom floor as well as the top floor. These people were sitting on there balconies and look directly onto our bed.Again we had to close the curtains which had no net. Now we were sitting in a very warm room with door and curtains close,this was definitely not what we had planned for our well relaxed and enjoying holiday.

My wife called the reception and informed them about the situation. A few minutes later the manager called us and informed us that he will see if he can assist the next day.He never gave us any feedback or responded.

At 00:00 our nightmare started with the huge generator going on when loadsheding kicked in. The generators location is right opposite our room. The sound was loud and no person could slept through that sound. We were feeling more tired the next day.

To our disgust,loadsheding was schedule for our entire stay from midnight (00:00) until 02:00 and on Wednesday night it was a full 4 hours from 00:00 until 04:00. No sleep for both me and my wife. This situation had a dire effect on our dream holiday,it was miserable. Had we been informed about the situation we would never wasted our money on this.

Your manager on duty on the 16 th was unhelpful to say the least.

Our holiday was totally ruined and I wish no other holiday makers go through what happened to us.

Our previous stay at Mykonos in 2018 was one on the best we experience,but this time it was a vacation straight out of hell.

We were more tired and miserable after our , what supposed to be a relaxing, enjoying and memorable holiday.I also emailed Off beat reservations manager,who promised to give me feedback which she never done ,and I requested a feedback to her email and was totally ignored.
