got severe bladder infection from indoor pool water
<p>I went to Octavia day spa, to enjoy the indoor pool with 3 of my friends. After we got home we all got severe bladder infections from the pool as per the doctor that we each went to. The pool obviuosly had bacteria, or it was dirty and not checked properly. We all got sick and i missed 4 days worth of work. Considering it is in a hotel and upmarket, i believe they should be very thorough with these kinds of things. I was a customer before this experience, but after this i wont go back. I did complain but their response was very poor which made it even more disappointing for me and my friends.</p>
Good Day Julia, as we have responded to your post on facebook, we have logs of the water test carried out. Furthermore, astringent tests are done by the hotel on the pool water, shower heads, basins, toilets etc. by an external company. We apologise that you were unwell and feel that it was due to the pool water. We wish you a speedy recovery.

hi, yes you did reply to me on facebook. Please take note that it wasn't only me that got a bladder infection, but 2 of my firends that joined me. This can't be caused by other factors besides the pool water being dirty and bacteria forming as per our doctor analysis.
If you are willing to share these astringent tests that are done the day before, on the day and after. The only report the spa sent me was a test of ph level and temperature of the pool which i believe isn't enough to detect a problem.
I was a regular and loyal customer and so are my 2 friends, given our experience and your response to this situation. Consider that you have lost us as clients and we have hence told our friends and family about what has happened. If you were so concerned about your customers, you would treat us better than you have. i await your further respone about which external company does your testing, the testing itself and also a formal apology..
