Review of Ocean Villas

Ocean Villas is a property with great potential, well-located in a beautiful area. However, our experience was marred by serious management issues, particularly the general manager and front desk lady, whose rude and aggressive attitudes left us feeling deeply dissatisfied and disrespected during our stay.

One of the major drawbacks is the contradictory terms and conditions between what is stated on Booking.com and the property's internal policies. If you're not diligent in reading these terms, be prepared to be disturbed in a highly rude manner. We faced this unfortunate reality ourselves.

During our stay, both showers in the apartment flooded on separate occasions, which posed a significant safety hazard. With no night staff available to assist, the only person who helped was a kind security guard. He did his best to aid us by providing towels to mop up the water and attending to the blocked drain 🤢However, the next day, when we requested clean towels, the front desk lady rudely referred us to a contract stipulating that towels are only replaced every three days. With no other option, we had to purchase our own towels when the second flood occurred.

To add to our frustration, we were not verbally informed that checkout was at 9:30 AM, which is earlier than the standard time. Instead, we were notified by a security guard just 15 minutes before the time, and shortly afterward, received a rude phone call from the front desk lady. The situation escalated when the general manager got involved. Rather than calmly explaining or offering options, he resorted to arrogance and ************, even banging on our door aggressively, which terrified my children, including my 2-year-old daughter. His behavior was entirely unprofessional and hostile.

What made matters worse was that the cleaning staff revealed that they were also subject to the GM’s aggressive management style, which created a fearful environment for both guests and employees alike.

Upon leaving, we discovered that Ocean Villas had falsely reported us as a "no show" on Booking.com, likely to prevent us from sharing an honest review.

In conclusion, while the property has potential, the rude and unprofessional attitude of management, combined with safety hazards like flooding showers and lack of night staff, make this a place I cannot recommend. They treat guests poorly and the property itself is not well-kept, with photos that do not reflect its true state. Avoid staying here unless significant improvements are made.
