Absolutely awful Guest House. Don’t waste your money

Absolutely terrible stay - wouldn't recommend to anyone. Check-in was quick; we were told what not to do, and we were not shown the amazing art gallery or treehouse as the person who checked us in rushed off the moment we had our key. There was no hot water for the whole stay, even after numerous complaints. The bathroom was incredibly shabby and run down, with a terrible mirror and broken drawers. Our room was not made up at any point. I had to go searching for toilet paper as ours wasn't replaced at all over the four nights we were there. The room itself was shabby and run down. WiFi doesn't work at all. It doesn't look like the website. Staff were not interested. There were screaming and crying children booked into a room they shouldn't have been in. I think they were actually in our room that we were supposed to stay in, and they were not paying guests. It was absolutely terrible, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The owner has not got back to us after several messages and phone calls, and a very long email complaint. I even spoke to him on the phone, and he seemed reasonable but left his guest house in the hands of staff who were terrible at guest relations. Now I know that the owner actually doesn’t care. Once you’re out of his accommodation he is finished with you and he disappears with your money and leaves you with terrible memories. It was a very special holiday that was *****ed by the terrible accommodation.
