Worst experience ever!!!

<p>Ok so on 27th November we decided as a family of 3 to go to Ocean basket clearwater mall as there was a planned power outage in our area. So this means that we didnt have breakfast as yet and decided to have lunch at ocean basket. Our waitress was Nomvula Gumede. She introduced herself after some time, took our order and then we waited 15min for our drinks to arrive. After that we were awaiting a starter of Tempura prawn roll 4pcs and that took over 30min. This starter Which we have had on many occassions at other ocean baskets was always fresh and delicious but this time it was extremly stale and offputting and lacked taste completely. So we waited for our mains which was a platter for 2 and a saucy fish bites for my 6 year old daughter. Which she refused to continue eating as there were fish thorns/bones in her fish bites. The platter for 2 came over 30min later by this time we were starved with hunger. But to our extreme dissapointment this meal was absolutely horrible. Everything was cold and stale and tastless. We ended up just tasting everything and then packing the rest in a box to give away. During waiting for this meal my husband asked for tomato sauce for my daughter and it was given to him with the lid un*****ed so when he shook the bottle you can imagine what happened next....yes the tomato sauce flew everywere, on his shirt, phone, table and he was trying to get someones attention for wet wipes etc which no one noticed. Eventually one of the waiters threw wet wipes on our table. But still no one apologised as yet. Throughout our meals we kept asking for serviettes which shouldnt have been the case. Eventually we just asked for the bill and told the waitress about the food being stale etc but she just said she will tell the kitchen guys about it. On top of it all she takes my drink away when I was not finished with it. We are so angry to have gone through this experience and We had a bill of R440 which was a waste of money and thats alot of money. I dont recommend anyone going to this Ocean basket. The service and food is horrible and will leave you with regrets afterwards. I expect a mail back from ocean basket as this is not a petty case that needs to be pushed aside. </p>
