Undercooked FIsh at Ocean Basket Herm****

Worst OB food experience yet.

Visited Herm**** OB last Sunday 22 June 2025 at around 17h00 for early dinner.

Ordered the "Sole to Share". The waiter was very friendly however did not ask us whether we wanted grilled or fried sole. We got fried. The sole (both plates) were badly undercooked although looked almost burnt on the outside. Mushy yuck for R325.

I doubt whether the total mass of soles was 300grams

The grilled veggies were not exactly tasty but at least cooked OK.

Clearly the cook on duty does not have any idea how to prepare fresh fish - looks like the sole was fried from frozen state but the flesh was undercooked and mushy - not good. OB food has deteriorated from good quality to zero quality.

The little bread buns we were served were cold.

The waiter never came around to ask if all was OK. No manager visible so we left the complaint to afterwards on Google and more.

OB Herm**** will NEVER see us again and we will certainly tell our friends about the quality of food.
