Unacceptable "no tap water" Policy

My wife went for the R22 special at the Ocean Basket in Fordsburg yesterday. She had requested to have a glass of tap water only to be informed by the waiter that they are not permitted to serve tap water. She then ordered a mocktail drink and had still been refused the tap water even after ordering this. She needed the water to have her medication. The waiter then suggests that she orders still water. She then informed him that she has water in the car and left. She contacted head office and they advised that they are not aware of any terms and conditions that the branches are not permitted to serve tap water. There were friends and family that were served tap water in several other branches but the Fordsburg branch continuously refused. We are bitterly disgusted with this type of service that we will never go back to an Ocean Basket again and we will be taking this to social media to inform the public of the ********** behavior promoted by Ocean Basket.
