Terrible yet pathetic service

<p>Today myself and husband went to Ocean Basket in Waterfront, we are newley weds. we got to Ocean basket and it was full and thiught wow great service if the restuarant was full. We waited to be seated, the lady takes us to our table and the table was dirty and she cleaned it for us, a waiter comes and takes our order, i asked the waiter where is our bread she respond with 'i will bring you, our bread came when we were done eating,I ordered a cuppacino and she writes it down, my husband want a hot chocolate and she says ' the guy that makes that is not here' he then says okay give me a latte, she says ' we cant give you the latte' he then says give me a tea ' she says i can give you tea but with cold milk because the machine is broken. We gave her our order which was Platter for 2 and she says ' would you be prepared to wait about 45- 1 hour becuase we short staff and we got no prawns but they got in prawns and they cleaning it and we sent our pans away for cleaning. My husband says yes we will wait. she goes and places our order she comes back and say i cant have my coffee because the machine is broken, so no warm drinksonly cold and today was 18 degrees with rain and we both wanted something warm. our food comes, cold, 2 small pieces of fish, prawns that has not been cleaned which was disgusting, we have asked for the manager but he was busy because of short staff. we got 5 chips literally 5 chips which we had to order an extra portion of chips. The mussels had no garlic sauce on, our food was ice cold. calamari that has been burnt little rice. i am truly disgusted in the service i got today. nervermind all that. Our bill came and it was written by our waiter and i asked why is it written she responds with ' there is to much people by the machine and she cant get there' we were in no rush for our bill whatsoever. i am truly disgusted and low and behold throughout this whole terribl day, the waiter said they had no plans because it went for cleaning and it was their last day becuase they are closed for 2 month for renovations but why would the pans go away for cleaning while you open why could it no be sent when the resturant was closed.</p> <p> </p> <p>i am terrribly disgusted in the service we got today at Waterfront Ocean Basket.</p> <p>i am forwarding this message to the head office of Ocean BASKET BECUASE I AM TRUKY DISGUSTED.</p> <p> </p> <p>THANK YOU</p>
