Terrible experience at ocean basket blue hills unsafe, unfresh cooked meals

We were two adults and two kids dined at ocean basket due to place being empty We asked of the food was fresh and were deceived we ordered and ate for R1500 from sushi to oysters to burger and the mother's platter including platter for one thereafter the kids resulted in vomiting diarrhea not long as adults it was really unfresh when we told both waiters and manager Terrible Experience – Food Not Fresh, Family Got Sick

We dined at Ocean Basket with two adults and two children. The restaurant was empty, and we specifically asked if the food was fresh before ordering. We were assured it was. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

We ordered a variety of dishes — sushi, oysters, a burger, the Mother's Platter, and a Platter for One — spending around R1500 we distinctly asked waiter reason for cold food.Shortly after eating, both children experienced vomiting and diarrhea. Not long after, the adults also became ill.

We raised our concerns with both the waiters and the manager, telling them the fish was not fresh. They dismissed our feedback, even though it was clear something was wrong.

This experience was not only disappointing but also dangerous. It ended up costing us more in doctor visits and medication. It’s unacceptable to serve unsafe food, especially when customers specifically ask about its freshness. Please be cautious if you choose to eat here — your health is worth more than a meal.
